  • Daizy Tiquio
    Physiotherapist

    Speaks: English, Tagalog (Filipino)

    Daizy graduated from Emilio Aguinaldo College in the Philippines with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. She has particular interest in geriatric, pediatric and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Daizy first joined pt Health in 2013 and currently works as a full-time physiotherapist.

    In her spare time, Daizy enjoys watching movies, cooking, travelling and being outdoors.



  • Nicole Kinnear
    Massage Therapist

    Speaks: English

    Nicole is a graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) and has been practising for the over 12 years. She utilizes skills learned in a variety of multidisciplinary settings into her current practice. 

    Her treatment style incorporates various techniques such as swedish/relaxation, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, deep tissue, active release techniques, passive stretching and joint mobilizations. As a part of the treatment plan homecare stretches and exercises are also provided. Patient education is also a passion of hers and is a crucial element of her treatment program.  Nicole is also fully equipped to provide pre and postnatal massage to expecting mothers. 

    In her free time you can find Nicole hiking and enjoying lake life, indulging in Vancouver's incredible food scene and playing board games with friends and family!



  • Stone Bian
    Acupuncturist

    Speaks: English, Cantonese, Mandarin

    Stone is a highly skilled and experienced registered acupuncturist in British Columbia, having completed rigorous academic training in acupuncture at Central College.

    With a wealth of clinical expertise, he specializes in treating internal disorders and pain management. Stone offers a comprehensive range of services, including acupuncture (body, auricular, and scalp), acupressure/tuina, cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and health qigong.

    Known for his exceptional communication skills, he fluently engages with clients in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, ensuring personalized and effective care.



  • Khoa Truong
    Massage Therapist

    Speaks: English, Finnish, Vietnamese

    Khoa is a Registered Massage Therapist and Kinesiology graduate with a strong clinical foundation and a passion for helping people move and feel better. Since 2018, he has treated clients with chronic pain, sports injuries, and movement limitations using an evidence-based, assessment-focused approach.

    His treatments blend IASTM, fascial techniques, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue work, always tailored to each individual for effective, longer-lasting results. He is adaptable, client-centered, and committed to ongoing learning.

    Outside of work, Khoa enjoys an active lifestyle, attending aerobic classes, walking outdoors, traveling, cooking homemade meals, and taking part in social activities such as board games or community events hosted by major non-profit organizations.

    Massage Therapist

    Speaks: English

    Tara has worked in the field of Fitness and Wellness for over 20 years.  As such she brings her knowledge of physical well being into her Massage Therapy practice, to help her clients achieve optimal physical productivity while restoring the body’s natural state of balance.

    Believing strongly that massage therapy can be a valuable tool towards achieving physical, emotional, and mental wellness, Tara strives to always provide a safe and relaxing environment. She is informed, professional, and passionate about her craft.

    She derives the satisfaction that comes with each session helping clients nurture and revitalize their bodies. For her, being a massage therapist is an opportunity to serve people, and so, she incorporates ethics and keen attention-to-detail to help them achieve their goals.



  • Dann Carlo Rivera
    Physiotherapist

    Speaks: English, Tagalog (Filipino)

    At the University of Santo Tomas, Dann completed his Physical Therapy Bachelor's Degree. His main areas of interest include orthopedic, geriatric, and sports rehabilitation. He is passionate about offering the right course of action in order to heal patients and aid in their recovery. Additionally, he is dedicated to improving his knowledge and abilities.

    He likes spending time with his family, reading, exercising, and being outside.



  • Chris vonSchellwitz
    Physiotherapist

    Speaks: English, French

    Chris completed both his Bachelor degree in Human Kinetics and his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia. He has an interest in working with athletes of all capacities, from the weekend warriors and recreational athletes to varsity and elite athletes. Currently, Chris is involved with the Vancouver Whitecaps residency program and has vast experience with coaching, managing, and playing soccer and ice hockey at all levels.

    Chris’ treatment focuses on manual techniques and rehabilitation through strengthening and exercise programs. He is committed to keeping current with modern empirical evidence and continuing education in the field of orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy. Chris has most recently completed both the Arthritis Society's Getting a Grip on Arthritis® osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis education program.

    Outside of the clinic, Chris can be found playing all sorts of recreational team sports but he also has a love for cycling. He just completed the GranFondo for the second year in a row while raising money for the BC heart and lung association.



  • Mansi Kansagra

    Mansi is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Saurashtra University and a Diploma in Health, Wellness and Fitness from Mohawk College. 

    With experience across a clinical settings, hospital and long-term care. Mansi specializes in musculoskeletal, geriatric, cardiovascular, and post-operative physiotherapy. Their approach focuses on understanding each patient’s individual needs and developing personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans to support recovery, improve mobility, manage pain, and enhance overall quality of life. 

    Mansi is committed to evidence-informed physiotherapy and helping patients regain strength, function, independence, and confidence throughout their rehabilitation journey. She is also enthusiastic in becoming fCAMPT. 

    Outside of physiotherapy, Mansi enjoys exploring trails, spending time in nature, and staying active, reflecting her belief in movement and wellness as an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.

Our Philosophy

Motion Physiotherapy - pt Health has been providing excellent physiotherapy and rehabilitation care to the Vancouver community since the 1990s.

Our staff provide compassionate care with a multidisciplinary approach that includes physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture and vestibular treatment.

Motion Physiotherapy - pt Health is located in downtown New Westminster, two blocks from the New Westminster skytrain station and on the top level of Columbia Square.

Our clinic treats everything from complex and chronic orthopedic injuries to sports injuries. We provide physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation (IMS), vestibular (dizziness/balance and vertigo) therapy, and exercise therapy.
