Lori-Lynn Hill
Massage TherapistSpeaks: EnglishLori-Lynn Hill is a Registered Massage Therapist and an honours graduate of the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program at The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She is a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia and has been practicing massage therapy since 2004. She specializes in therapeutic massage therapy that includes techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, pregnancy massage and Remedial exercise. Additional courses have been taken to expand her scope of deep systemic tissue therapy.
She is a passionate and devoted practitioner who will strive to see positivity gained both physically and mentally by her clients and in all aspects of her profession and as a result has an extensive following of clientele. Lori-Lynn Hill has worked and served this community in which she was raised since graduating and feels honored and proud to continue to be a part of it.
George Cernan
PhysiotherapistSpeaks: English, Czech, SlovakGeorge is a 2006 graduate from Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy. His treatment approach is a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription and education, ensuring that his patients are active participants in their own rehabilitation. George continues to enhance his clinical skills through post graduate courses in manual therapy, low back disorders, movement impairments, acupuncture, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, running and playing the piano.
Nirali Jani
PhysiotherapistSpeaks: English, Hindi, GujaratiNirali is a dedicated professional with over 8 years of total working experience, having diverse clinical exposure for different age groups including pediatrics.
In her practice, Nirali combines manual therapy, evidence-based treatment and exercise prescription to engage her patients in their treatment plan. She continues to evolve her skills through continuing education.
Outside of the clinic, Nirali enjoys cooking, listening to music and spending time with her family.
Lynda Robertson
Occupational TherapistSpeaks: EnglishLynda graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1989. She then returned to school to complete her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1994. After graduation, Lynda worked for 2 years in Fort Myers, Florida (Rehabilitation Spinal Cord / TBI – Outpatient – Stroke/Hand therapy), 2 years in Rockland, Maine (Respiratory / Ortho Rehab) and then moved back to Halifax, Nova Scotia (working in Long Term Care / Equipment prescription / Home visits) before joining the pt Health team in September 2024.
Lynda is excited to now be completing Job Site visits, Ergonomic Assessments, functional testing (recently trained in FCE), return to work planning, and general occupational therapy assessments for pt Health/Lifemark.
Emily Scallion
Massage TherapistSpeaks: EnglishEmily graduated from the Massage Therapy program at The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2016 and is a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia.
Katherine Walker
KinesiologistSpeaks:Kat holds a BSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology with a Minor in Psychology from Concordia University (2012). With a solid foundation in both physical and mental wellness, she brings a holistic approach to client care. She also has extensive experience coaching and managing accessible sailing programs across Eastern Canada, reflecting her commitment to inclusive, community-oriented wellness.
Her practice focuses on helping individuals living with chronic pain and other long-term conditions achieve meaningful goals through personalized strength and conditioning programs, functional rehabilitation, and lifestyle education.
She has extensive experience working with: • Strength & Conditioning Programming • Chronic Pain Management • Functional Assessments for WCB & MVA Clients • Home & Gym-Based Exercise Plans • Adaptive Coaching for Clients with Disabilities
During her spare time, Kat enjoys travelling and sailboat racing.
Mona Chovatia
Physiotherapist ResidentSpeaks: English, Hindi, GujaratiWith over six years of experience, Mona integrates a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches into her care plans to support optimal recovery. Her practice emphasizes patient education and tailored exercise programs. She has worked with individuals recovering from surgery, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and those managing osteoarthritis. Mona is dedicated to helping you achieve your health goals.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and reading.
Sammy Mohamad
KinesiologistSpeaks: EnglishSammy graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2016. He is a highly skilled and experienced kinesiologist with a passion for helping people achieve their various fitness goals. Through his degree, Sammy has developed an understanding of the biomechanics, anatomy, and physiology of the human body and is skilled in using this knowledge to develop individualized plans for each of his clients.
As well, Sammy has spent several years working as a personal trainer. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at Dalhousie University.
In his spare time, Sammy enjoys golfing, weight training, playing basketball, and spending time at the beach.
