They must have also successfully passed each and every requirement as set out in their provincial governing bodies.
Day 1
You will receive a thorough assessment. This allows our healthcare professionals to understand you and your injury better in order to determine how we can help. Following the assessment, we will discuss with you the details of our findings, ask you what your goals and expectations are and from there map out a realistic treatment plan to help you gain maximum long-term results. All of your questions will be answered. Pain control and return to function are our top priority.
Day 2
This is the day where you will receive your first full treatment. We will first ask you how you reacted to the assessment to determine the level of sensitivity of your injury. We will also be discussing pain
control techniques that you will be doing in between your visits to our clinic. New treatment techniques and modalities will be initiated with an explanation of what the technique does and why it will be beneficial for you. We encourage you to ask as many questions as you’d like!
Subsequent Days
Typically, you should expect to see pain decreasing in intensity within the first 3-4 sessions. However, your condition may be very unique and fall outside of these guidelines. We highly encourage you to discuss this with your healthcare professional. Please note we have several types of healthcare professionals and a wide array of treatment techniques that can be of benefit to you. It may be determined during your treatment that other treatment options may be beneficial to your particular condition. With our inter-disciplinary team we can ensure you receive the best care possible.
